Arsenal fans are over the moon with the brilliant performance that one of their superstars has been showing. The latest development made the fans to request Mikel Arteta to recall the player so that he can also help the team in fighting for the Premier League title.
Folarin Balogun was taken on loan to Reims in Ligue 1 in France. The young lad has been performing well and he has been scoring left right and centre. He surprised many people when he scored a hat trick against Lorient.
This now means that he has a total of 14 goals from 20 matches. He is now the current top scorer in Ligue 1. This is a League that is dominated by some of the best forward players in the World like Lionel Messi, Kyllian Mbappe and Neymar Junior.
The Arsenal fans rushed online and said that they are proud that their academy graduate is doing wonders in a different League and is proving to the whole world that Arsenal is a place where stars are made.
Some of them said that Mikel Arteta should bring him back so that he can also bolster the striking force. Folarin Balogun is currently third in command in Arsenal’s striking role after Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah.
Other fans also said that Mikel Arteta did a good thing to take Folarin Balogun on loan because it is good for his development. They also requested him to maybe extend it again or bring him back to the Premier League with another club.
