What was Witnessed in Chelsea’s 3-0 Win Against AC Milan

Chelsea met AC Milan in another game of the UEFA Champions League. This was a very tough match because the two Managers named very strong lineups for that encounter. Graham Potter continued with his trust in Kepa Arrizabalaga and he kept his position in the goalpost at the expense of Mendy.

In the defence, he had Wesley Fofana, Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly. The midfield had Reece James, Ruben Loftus Cheek, Mateo Kovacic and Ben Chilwell. The striking force had Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

The Manager of AC Milam named Ciprian Tatarusanu in the goalpost, the defence had Fode Toure, Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu and Sergino Dest. In the midfield he named Sandro Tonali, Ismael Bennacer.

Chelsea broke the deadlock in the twenty fourth minute after Ruben Loftus Cheek gave Wesley Fofana a brilliant pass that was converted into the first goal. This solitary goal stood until the end of the first half.

The second half was also another marathon one and Pierre Emeriick Aubameyang got his name in the score sheet. He was given the assist by Reece James. Moments later, Reece James scored the third goal. He was given an assist by Raheem Sterling.

Graham Potter also made some meaningful substitutions and they all showed why they also deserve a chance. He substituted Wesley Fofana and replaced him with Trevoh Chalobah, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang with Conor Gallagher, Mateo Kovacic with Jorginho, Mason Mount with Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling with Armando Broja.

The game ended 3-0 in favor of the Blues. This was a very impressive result for the Blues and the club has now narrowed the gap between it and FC Salzburg which is currently in position one.
