Jürgen Klopp’s squad had Allison Becker, Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Joseph Gomez, Alexander Arnold, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Harvey Elliot, Luis Diaz, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
The Red Devils played a very good game and Anthony Elanga gave Jadon Sacho a brilliant pass that led to the first goal. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of the Red Devils. The second half started on a very high note and the Red Devils showed that they needed nothing but a win in that game.
Erik ten Hag made a substitution and he brought in Anthony Martial in place of Anthony Elanga. The French international player performed very well and he partnered with Marcus Rashford to score the second goal.
Marcus Rashford redeemed himself after a series of bad results from his end. Liverpool pulled one goal back through the help of Mohamed Salah. Erik ten Hag made more substitutions and he brought in Fred in place of Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo instead of Marcus Rashford, Aaron Wan Bissaka in place of Diogo Dalot and Donny Van De Beek in place of Christian Eriksen.
Jürgen Klopp also made some changes and brought in Fabinho in place of Jordan Henderson, Fabio Carvalho in place of James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas in place of Andy Robertson. The game ended 2-1 in place of Manchester United.
