Why Arsenal Will Make Chelsea to Regret Being in the Premier League
The International break is over and the Premier League will resume action on Saturday. The long awaited North London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea is also imminent. This will be a very interesting game because these are two teams that have very interesting stats.
The game will be played at Stamford bridge. There are quite a number of reasons as to why the Gunners will emerge victorious in this derby. First of all, Mikel Arteta has mastered the art of collecting all the three points from the Blues.
Arsenal is also one of the top most clubs that are being considered as the title contenders this season. The club is currently in position 2 with 20 points just behind Tottenham Hotspurs with just a margin of the number of goals scored.
Chelsea on the other hand is in position 11 with 11 points. The difference between these two clubs is 9 points. The gap is too wide and Mikel Arteta may seek to even further widen it to 12 points so that Chelsea may not prove to be a stumbling block in Arsenal’s quest for this season’s Premier League title.
Arsenal has also been performing relatively well as compared to Chelsea. The players have bonded well because majority of them were there last season and they know what is expected of them to perform well.
Chelsea on the other hand may not beat Arsenal with the current state of affairs in that club. The players are still trying to get to know each other better and they have not yet bonded well. It will be very difficult for the club to produce good results against an Arsenal team that was only shy from winning last season’s Premier League title with only 5 points.
The fans at Stamford Bridge will also not be in a position to cheer their team and woe them to win the game. Mikel Arteta’s philosophy has been implemented and it will be very difficult for the players to cope up with it because Mauricio Pochettinho has not yet found the best formation that can work well for him and the players who can deliver well in certain positions.
