Manchester City will meet Chelsea in another clash of the English Premier League. This will be a very tough match because it involves the Champions League winners and the Premier League winners. There are however very many reasons as to why Chelsea may emerge victorious in that game.
First of all, Thomas Tuchel has not lost any match this season. This will give the Chelsea players the morale to work hard and try to maintain the unbeaten run so far. A win against the defending Premier League Champions will help the team to continue with the good run of the new season.
Another reason is the fact that Chelsea won its last game against Tottenham Hotspurs which is equally a very strong team. Manchester City was however held to a barren draw with Southampton which does not have a very strong team.
The Blues also have a good depth in the squad. The team had a very weak forward line last season but it has been improved with the introduction Romelu Lukaku. Apart from the Belgian international player, the club also has very good players who can score goals. There are very many players who have managed to score goals this season.
Chelsea may also emerge victorious in this game because it emerged victorious in the last three games that they have played together. This good run against Manchester City may also continue in the Premier League. The last game that the two teams participated in is the final game of last season’s Champions League.
