What was Witnessed in Chelsea’s 2-0 Win Against Tottenham in the London Derby

Chelsea met Tottenham Hotspurs in another game of the English Premier League at Stamford Bridge. The first half started on a very high note and the Chelsea players knew what they wanted from the word go.

Trevoh Chalobah put the Blues in front after receiving a brilliant pass from Captain, Conor Gallagher. They held on to that win until the end of the first half. The two teams went to rest when the game was 1-0 in favor of Chelsea.

The second half also started on a very high note and Nicolas Jackson scored the second goal after Cole Palmer’s free kick hit the post. He capitalized it and scored a good header.

Tottenham Hotspurs tried their best to make a comeback but the Chelsea players were too smart for them. Mauricio Pochettino made only three changes, he substituted Mykhailo Mudryk and replaced him with Cesare Casadei, Alfie Gilchrist with Josh Acheampong and Nicolas Jackson with Jimi Tauriainem.

Ange Postecoglou made five changes in his squad in his quest to make comeback in the game. He substituted Richarlison and replaced him with Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Matar Sarr with James Maddison, Yves Bissouma with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Brennan Johnson with Bryan Gil and Emerson Royal with Giovani Lo Celso.

There are some players who really performed well like Noni Madueke who really did a great job with and without the ball. He proved why he was bought. The game ended 2-0 in favor of Chelsea and it elevated the club to position eight.
