The father of the late Chief of Defense Forces, General Francis Ogolla has finally broken the silence after the death of his son. He has revealed some shocking news that General Francis Ogolla had planned to travel home and help him in celebrating his birthday.
He said that General Francis Ogolla was to travel home and help him in celebrating 100 years since he was born. This was a milestone and General Francis Ogolla wanted to share the joy with his father for living for all those years.
The birthday was to be held on Saturday 20th April 2024 in their rural home in Siaya County. It is very unfortunate that General Francis Ogolla’s life was cut short by a plane crash and he will not live again to see his father cross the 100 years’ mark as he had planned.
This is also very painful to General Francis Ogolla’s father because he had also hoped and wished that his son was going to be present as he turns 100 years.
He revealed that they had great plans and one of them is that they were going to visit the church first for prayers and then later head home for the celebration of the birthday. The family mourned General Francis Ogolla as a devoted person who was really hardworking.
It is very sad that he will now not celebrate the birthday of his father who raised him and instead his father will now burry him in his home which he built some 2 Kilometers away from the family home.
