The English Premier League is one of the most competitive Leagues in the World. It has very big teams with very good players. It also has a good number of midfielders who are good in taking free kicks that can result into a goal directly.
The Premier League gave out the names of some six players from different clubs and asked the supporters and the fans of the League to name the best free kick taker in the Premier League according to them.
The players who were named in that list are James Maddison of Leicester City, Christian Eriksen of Manchester United, James Ward-Prowse of Southampton, Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City, Kevin Trippier of Leicester City and Marcus Rashford of Manchester United.
The fans gave their humble opinions and overwhelmingly voted for James Word-Prowse of Southampton. They said that he is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League yet he has a lot of impact in his team.
According to the fans, none of the big players can match James Ward-Prowse when it comes to free kicks. They also added that he is never just recognized because he plays for Southampton which is not regarded as one of the top teams in the Premier League.
The fact that even the supporters of the other teams which equally had their players on that list but still voted for the Southampton captain, shows that his quality is unmatched and he cannot be compared to them despite the fact that he is playing for a team which is always struggling in the Premier League.
