Full Highlights as Arsenal Thrash Brighton 3-0, Dislodges Liverpool and Returns Top of the Premier League

Arsenal visited Brighton at The American Express Community Stadium for another tough game of the English Premier League. Mikel Arteta returned Bukayo Saka, Olexandr Zinchenko and Jorginho back in the starting lineup.

The game was a very stiff and tight one and Mikel Arteta had a very good plan to counter their strong midfield. He rested Jakub Kiwior and replaced him with Olexandr Zinchenko who can add an extra number in the midfield.

Gabriel Jesus was brought down in the penalty box by Tariq Lamptey and Arsenal was awarded a penalty. Bukayo Saka stepped up to take it and he scored the opening goal for the Gunners. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of Arsenal.

The second half started on a very high note and Arsenal looked very composed. Jorginho teamed up well with Kai Havertz and he gave the German international player a brilliant pass that was converted into the second goal.

Kai Havertz was again involved in the third goal when he set up a good pass for Leandro Trossard who marked his return to his former team with a goal. The Brighton fans booed him when he was introduced and he silenced them by scoring the third goal and also celebrated that goal.

Mikel Arteta made some changes and gave the other players some rest. He substituted Bukayo Saka and replaced him with Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus with Leandro Trossard, Oleksandr Zinchenko with Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kai Havertz with Eddie Nketiah and Martin Odegaard with Fabio Vieira.

Roberto De Zerbi also made some changes, he substituted Julio Enciso and replaced him with Facundo Buonanotte, Jakub Moder wit Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck with Ansu Fati.

The game ended 3-0 in favor of Arsenal and David Raya recorded yet another clean sheet. He is on his way to winning the golden gloves this season despite the fact that he has not played all games for Arsenal.
