Why Liverpool Will Beat Manchester United in Their Sunday Premier League Clash

Manchester United will host Liverpool at the Old Trafford for another much awaited game of the English Premier League. This game comes just days after the Red Devils were thrashed by Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

There are however very many reasons as to why Liverpool will win this match despite the fact that it will be played at the home stadium of Manchester United. First of all, Liverpool is one of the favorite teams to lift the Premier League title this season.

Their closest opponents, Arsenal and Manchester City have both played their match week game and recorded all three points. Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 4-2 while Arsenal beat Brighton 3-0. These results have really pilled a lot of pressure on Liverpool.

The team began on top of the Premier League but Arsenal’s win has pushed it to position two with the same number of points as Manchester City but only ahead of them with a goal difference of 2 goals.

Jürgen Klopp and the Liverpool players know that if they allow Manchester United to beat them, then there is a high possibility that they can even drop further to position three depending on the number of goals that will be scored.

This therefore means that they will not allow Manchester United to beat them or even draw with them. They will go fire blazing and fight for all the three points for they to regain their top spot in the Premier League.

Liverpool will also beat Manchester United because the players will be seeking to revenge the recent 4-3 loss in the FA Cup quarter finals. They will revenge against Manchester United for eliminating them in the FA Cup.

They will not want Manchester United to also eliminate them in the Premier League title and yet they want to dedicate it to Jürgen Klopp who had stated that he will leave at the end of the season.
