Goalkeepers Arsenal are Eyeing to Replace Aaron Ramsdale who is Expected to Leave the Gunners

Aaron Ramsdale found himself in an awkward situation after David Raya was signed on loan from Brentford to give him some competition because he was becoming too relaxed since he knew that he was the beast and he had managed to cement his position in the top flight after coming from the relegation.

His future has been in the limbo ever since David Raya took over his number one spot and went ahead to even win the golden gloves for the 2023/2024 season after getting the most number of clean sheets.

It is very evident that Mikel Arteta will continue with him next season as the number one goalkeeper and this may not go well with Aaron Ramsdale who also want more game time and also a return in the England international squad after tasting the international duties.

Reports have indicated that Aaron Ramsdale is keen on leaving the Gunners and Arsenal is currently keeping an eye on some goalkeepers so that they can fill the void that will be left by Aaron Ramsdale.

The goalkeepers that Arsenal is keeping an eye on are the former Gunners shot stopper, Wojciech Szczesny who is now 34 years old, Brighton’s Jason Steele who has also been very fundamental for his club this season, Diant Ramaj of Ajax and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford who has been very instrumental for his club and also country.

Jordan Pickford was close to challenging David Raya for the golden gloves award but his defence is what failed him because on the other side, David Raya has a very strong defence with an unbreakable wall of Gabriel and William Saliba.

His addition to the squad may make David Raya more uncomfortable and may even make him to work harder because Mikel Arteta has proven that there is no position which is permanent in the Arsenal squad and any player can be replaced at any time.
