Arsenal for the second consecutive game gave out a 2-0 lead and ended in a 2-2 draw against West Ham United. The League leaders struggled to maintain their good start of the first half and finally gave Manchester City an upper hand in winning the Premier League title.
Manchester City beat Leicester City on Saturday and it was Arsenal’s turn to continue piling the pressure by maintain the gap between the two teams. This however did not happen after the 2-2 draw that Arsenal got against West Ham United.
The Arsenal fans did not take the result lightly. They rushed online and accused one player for making them to lose the game. The fans said that Bukayo Saka was the man behind that loss because he was given the opportunity to put things right but he wasted the penalty.
The fans said that if at all he could have scored that penalty, then the game could have ended 3-2. They also said that if he knew that he was not confident enough, he could have then gave out the opportunity to Gabriel Jesus to take it.
Some of the fans also lamented that they also partly blame Mikel Arteta because he has been consistently playing Bukayo Saka despite the fact that he has not been in his top form recently.
They added that the young player is fatigued and he needs some rest because there are players who can step up in that position like Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson who have all been performing well as substitutes.
