How Chelsea was Thrashed 4-1 by Brighton in the Premier League

Graham Potter went back to his former team with Chelsea in another game of the English Premier League. He received a rude shock after the players he coached humiliated him with the big squad that he has with big players.

The first half started on a very high note and Leandro Trossard put the home team ahead. He scored a brilliant goal after he was given a cool pass by Kaoru Mitoma. This marked the start of the woes for Chelsea.

Ruben Loftus Cheek netted in his own net and gave Brighton the second goal through an own goal. Trevoh Chalobah was also on target but on the wrong goal. He also netted an own goal in his own goal.

The first half ended 3-0 in favor of Brighton. Graham Potter was forced to make an immediate change in the second half. He removed Kepa Arrizabalaga and reinstated Edouard Mendy back in his position.

The Blues were abit organized and they pulled one goal back. The goal was scored by Kai Havertz. Brighton got another goal through Pascal Gross. The Brighton players kept the game going on and they closed all the loopholes that Chelsea could use to score goals.

The Chelsea Manager made more changes but it did not work for the club.  Raheem Sterling was substituted and he was replaced by Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Ben Chilwell for Marc Cucurella, Hakim Ziyech for Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja for Christian Pulisic. The game ended 4-1 in favor of Brighton.
