Jacque Maribe has finally landed a State Job a month after Justice Nzioka ruled that there was no enough evident that could compel her to convict Jacque Maribe in the Monica Kimani murder case. She had also stated during the trial that she had no ill motive of murdering anybody.
She has been appointed as the Head of Communications at the Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management. This is indeed good news to her because she has spent like six years in the cold after being accused with Jowie Irungu in the Monica Kimani murder case.
Honorable Moses Kuria who is the Cabinet Secretary of Public Service confirmed that she indeed was appointed but he is not the one who appointed her but the Public Service Commission.
He went ahead to say that what the Public Service Commission did was the right thing to do for Jacque Maribe and President William Ruto’s Administration is keen to demonstrate that Kenya is a country of justice and equal opportunities and a person can be helped to rise from his or her ruins.
Jacque Marie also said that she is hoping for the best in her new appointment after the truth set her free. During the ruling, Justice Nzioka bashed the prosecution for investigating shoddily. She added that the prosecution preferred the wrong charge for the former Citizen Television News anchor.
Many people stood with Jacque Maribe from the onset of her case and they were all happy when she was acquitted and found innocent. We wish her all the best in her new position.
