“Jail Them,” Uproar as 3 Managers Arrested for Forcing Female Employees to Undress Over Used Sanitary Pads

Reports from various sources indicated that female employees from Brown Cheese Company which is based in Limuru were forced to undress earlier this week, this is after the Quality Manager at the company found a sanitary towel that had been disposed in a wrong dustbin.

According to the reports, the Manager got all the female employees from the team and told them to undress so that they could check who was on her periods and give her the necessary punishment.

Some reports also indicated that not all the female employees were forced to strip naked but only the casual labourers. The ladies in the top positions were not touched. This is not far from selective humiliation.

The gender office at the Tigoni Police station conducted some investigations and it was realized that this is not the first time that a senior Manager from Brown Cheese forced the employees to strip naked. It has been happening for some time now.

The police acted promptly after the uproar and the investigations that were conducted. They arrested three senior Managers from the Brown Cheese company on Thursday morning in connection to the shameful incident that occurred.

The three Brown Cheese Managers who were arrested are, the Quality Assurance Manager, Human Resource Manager and the Human Resource Assistant. Many Kenyans were angered with that incident and they even said that the Managers should be jailed because that is not the best way of dealing with issues that have got to do with biological functions.

The news was first taken into social media by Senator Gloria Orwoba who wrote that she received a distress call that company and even stated that it is very unfortunate that the matter at Brown Cheese company had escalated despite the intervention through her office.
