Kyle Walker Tired of Warming Bench at Manchester City, Requests Pep Guardiola to Let Him Leave

Pep Guardiola has revealed the reason that made him to leave Kyle Walker out of the 8-0 game against Salford City in the Emirates FA Cup. He said that, the Manchester City Captain approached him through the Director of football and said that, he wants to leave the club and explore his options abroad.

He also said that, he plans to go and play abroad and end his career there. Pep Guardiola also said that, Kyle Walker had also asked to leave the club two seasons ago after winning the treble because Bayern Munich was really interested in him, but the transfer did not materialize because the offer was not good enough.

He also said that, he attributes the success that Manchester City has had in the past seasons with the consistency of Kyle Walker. He also added that, he has been there best right back and he has been amazing, but he cannot stop him from going abroad because he seems to have already made up his mind.

Pep Guardiola also said that, since Kyle Walker had already made up his mind and wanted to go away, he had no other option but to play the players who are available and whose minds are focused with the club.

He is leaving the club when he is still the Captain, he took the arm band from Ilkay Gundogan who left the arm band when he completed a transfer to Barcelona but later came back to Manchester City after things did not work very well for him there in Spain.

Reports have indicated that AC Milan are interested in signing Kyle Walker and there are also options that he may be exploring in the Saudi League. It is still not very clear where he will be heading but one thing for sure is that, Kyle Walker will leave Manchester City this January transfer window.
