The fans said that, they have very bad memories with that jersey because it just brings bad luck to the team.
Some of the fans also said that, they rarely win when they put on that jersey. They added that, they know that when they put on that jersey, even the struggling teams beat them.
The Arsenal fans urged the players that, they need to break that curse today of not winning any game with that jersey. They told the players that, they need to go with high spirits in the game and break that chain of bad luck which is always associated with the jersey.
The Arsenal fans also said that, the Arsenal players should not go into that game with the mentality that they have beaten Manchester United in the last four meetings that they have heard. They urged the players to focus on the match and have it at the back of their mind that, Manchester United are the defending Champions of the Emirates FA Cup and they will also do everything possible to make sure that they get victory against Arsenal.
Other Arsenal fans also said that, they should leave side shows and excuses and focus on the game. They said that, the jersey will not play but rather the players who will be selected by Mikel Arteta.
They referred to Mikel Arteta’s excuse after losing to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup. He said that the ball that was brought was not like the one for the Premier League and that is why Arsenal lost the game.
Arsenal fans are however confident that their club will defeat Manchester United and emerge victorious because Mikel Arteta has mastered the art of beating the Red Devils.
