Manchester City Thrash Wolves 5-1, Pile Pressure on Arsenal at the top, Reduce the huge Goal Difference

The defending Champions Manchester City knew what was ahead of them after witnessing Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth just some hours before their game. The Manchester City players did not allow the pressure to overcome them but kept their focus on the prize.

Manchester City started the game on a very high note and Erling Haaland decided to also seal his top scorer position after David Raya won the golden gloves because there is no other goalkeeper who can match his clean sheets with the few games remaining.

He scored a hat trick in the first half. He scored a penalty as the first goal then Rodri gave him a brilliant pass that led to the second goal. Manchester City then got another penalty and Erling Haaland was given the task and he scored the third goal.

Hwang Hee-Chan pulled one goal back for Wolves but it was not enough to bail the club out. Phil Foden then gave Erling Haaland a good pass and the lethal striker scored his fourth goal of the season.
