Written by The member of Parliament of Kapsaret Constituency, honorable Oscar Sudi has fired back at the church concerning the recent debacle between the State and the Church.
He said that if they have ever wronged the Church, then they are sorry as politicians. He added that, he does not know whether the Bishops who sit at the helm of leadership want them to be reached first before they reach the churches at the grass root level.
Honorable Oscar Sudi also said that, what he knows is that the churches are always struggling and congregants are always making collections in order for them to build the churches so that people can worship in decent places of worship.
He added that, he is a Christian and he has been brought up in a Christian family, and he knows very well that, the churches have no kitty that supports them in their development agenda. He also added that, what he knows is that, Christianity starts with an individual.
He also added that, he does not know why the Bishops now want to return the money that was donated in good faith. He also said that, as politicians, they do not always go just to donate but most of the time, they are always called and informed that the churches have some fund raisings and they wish to be supported by the politicians by gracing the occasion.
Honorable Oscar Sudi also added that, they are also Christians and they will always assist whenever needed because they are also believers and congregants of those churches. He also added that, they will continue to come to the churches because they also want to worship.
