A Kisumu based comedian by the name of Kevin Otieno Ngeso alias MC Kodoa has taken the internet by a storm after coming up with a very unique style of content creation that many Kenyans have not yet tapped into.
MC Kodoa’s talent is translating and singing Dholuo songs in English. He is not someone who is very new into the entertainment world. His time had not just reached because he started performing way back in 2018.
He said that he started his journey by performing at local events but he did not get any breakthroughs. He at one point even considered giving up because he did many skits before but they all went unnoticed.
He then recently decided to stand out by translating dholuo songs into English. He shared that when he translated Odongo Swagg’s song that was trending, he was amazed by the reception and that video went viral.

His fans who were impressed with that talent, told him to also translate Prince Indah’s “Osiepe” hit song. This song blew the internet and it even caught the attention of Prince Indah himself and he also shared it in his social media accounts.

The veteran musician did not just appreciate his talent by posting his video, he also gave him some money for the good job that he did.
