The first issue that caught her in scuffles is the refusal to pay taxes or in other words the money that is always collected by Obare from the residents who stay there.
The other issue is that Obare came to later discover that she has been staying with Obuya. In the coming episode, Obare will vow and commit himself to deal with Maria ruthlessly. The reason as to why he will deal with Maria is because of her defiance.
Maria became defiant and restricted some boys from robbing Bi. Ua. According to Obare, he lost a lot of money because of Maria since that deal went sour and it did not materialize. His body language and tonal variation speaks volumes and it shows that he is actually not kidding about that matter.
Maria also noticed that things were not well and they were both in danger together with Obuya. According to her instincts, they could both be in great danger if they continue staying together in that place.
Maria will therefore agree to escape with Obuya to another destination that may be safer. Obuya will agree because he also knows that he may not be safe, this is because he had seem Fatima at the ghetto but they did not meet eye to eye.
Things look tough though because Dida and Obare have also come to an agreement to get Obuya from Maria. On the other hand, the detectives who are handling Obuya’s case are also hunting for them are they are tracking them down and they have also informed Mejja about the operation.
