Maria keeps insisting that Sultana talk to her because she can help, but Sultana tells her to mind her own business because they don’t know each other and sends Maria packing, demanding that she take her meal with her.

Kaka takes a wheelbarrow into the woods and urinates on it, worried that the noise it makes would alert the authorities. He moves toward Kokan’s body, but as he inspects it, he realizes something is off.

Major’s house is in disarray thanks to Babu and Sada, but Asiya assures him that he need not worry because the two are simply two fools who lie to each other and cause mayhem. Babu is from Major’s family, and he wants to convince everyone that Major tried to kill him. To her point, she says that the people are poisoned by Babu’s very presence among them. He deeply regrets that he was not thrown into the ocean and drowned.

JJ and the doctor catch up at a restaurant, where JJ profusely apologizes for keeping him. However, the doctor doesn’t mind being there because he feels at peace. Without saying anything further, he delivers JJ a bag containing blood samples and asks whether they were there to continue discussing his mother’s condition. JJ tells him that they would no longer be able to hang out together after the test.

When Major returns to his chamber, he discovers Fatima waiting for him, but he sends her to her own space, explaining that he wants to relax. He grabs a couple of drinks and shows her the exit while handing her the glasses. Fatima storms out of the room, leaving Dida to watch sadly from her bedroom.

JJ is determined to find out the truth about whether or not he was formed in Ua’s womb, regardless of what his mother may have heard from Asiya or Bi. Salama, but the Doctor is hesitant since he is scared this will ruin his friendship with Major, and they all know Major has no mercy. Ua has been locked up in the dog’s kennel, and JJ tells him that his father has decided to live like an animal and has even chained her up. He wants the physician to honor his oath and put patient care first.

Asiya puts the food on the table, thinking to herself that she feels bad for Babu, but that she would be relieved if he were dead, and that it is her responsibility to keep Ua in the kennel for as long as possible. Asiya walks out on Fatima after she asks her what she told Major and responds harshly, “I have no intention of upsetting your plans.”

Kaka returns to his home, where Buya tries to strike up a discussion with him but is quickly silenced by Kaka’s yelling that he should just go to sleep because nothing has gone well since he first arrived. Kaka tells Buya to stop because he only said that because he needs help, and Kaka feels bad about himself because he’s always been the one to pull others out of sticky situations, but he blames himself for getting himself into this one.

To her astonishment, Zuu sees a bunch of flowers waiting for her on the table; she steps outside and encounters Mwanzele, who inquires as to why she isn’t cooking despite her want to depart. She advises him to fix his problems on his own, and that paying off her father’s debts isn’t acceptable because it’s in her DNA.

After seeing the house photos that were supplied to him, Makor contacted his realtors to express his dissatisfaction and reiterate his need for a peaceful neighborhood. The image of Ua’s face is rubbed onto the paper, and he looks at it thoughtfully, hoping that he has made the right choice.

Mwanzele reflects on the good times he had while courting Zuu and says that they used to love each other but that their current problems will eventually drive them apart. He recalls that Zuu once brought up the idea of them having their own child, and he realizes that this is the spark he needs to reignite the flame of love between them.

When Zuu visits her father’s grave, she discovers it has been dug up and sees a shovel lying nearby; she immediately becomes terrified and flees.

When JJ discovers Asiya looking in on his mom, she defends herself by saying that she was just following orders and that JJ has no business being in the house right now. JJ informs her that he has to see his mom one final time, and that she can’t stop him. He probes her as to whether or not she is aware of Ua’s potential awareness of her and Bi’s conversation. Salama announced the birth of a daughter, but Asiya’s question about whether anything was wrong irritated JJ because she could see how exhausted his mother was. Asiya, who has been listening outside, is so surprised that she runs back inside the home as JJ is telling Ua that he doesn’t want to consider the possibility that he is not Ua’s child, but he was weary of remaining in the dark and he had to know the truth.
