Underrated Arsenal to Mercilessly Beat Overrated Real Madrid at the Emirates

Arsenal has been mocked and ridiculed that it will not reach any far in the Champions League. The players have braced the criticism and they successfully finished in the top eight of the group stage and sailed through the round of 16 comfortably.

Arsenal met PSV and the players despite not having a striker, scored the most number of goals against their opponents. They finished the game in Netherlands in the first half and they were just honoring the fixture in the second leg at the Emirates.

The draw for the quarter finals came and they were draw with the defending Champions, Real Madrid. Haters and pundits have said all that they can with so much hatred against Mikel Arteta’s side.

The time has now come and Arsenal will host Real Madrid at the Emirates Stadium for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter finals. This will be a mouth-watering game because Arsenal is not as small as other teams think it is.

Mikel Arteta has really tried and built the foundation with the resources and players that he has. He is only lacking a lethal striker who can convert all the chances that are being created into goals.

Arsenal will surprise many people in the whole world and beat Real Madrid just the same way it surprised many people and beat PSG 2-0 in the group stage. There is some confidence that the players have and despite the fact that they do not have very lethal strikers or natural strikers, they are able to do their best and score goals.

The defence is not also weak even with Gabriel Magalhaes missing in action. William Saliba will be the main man to watch and he will handle Mbappe very well. Ben White and Jurrien Timber are all fit and this is a clear indication that, the defence will have a lot of options despite the injury crisis.

The midfield is also very well equipped with Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are all back from their injuries and the fans and the team will be backing up on them in terms of goals.
