They have all not flourished well in that position and therefore the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori means that he may assume that role and bolster the defence. He is a defender and therefore his arrival means that Arsenal’s defence will be very lethal.
Riccardo Calafiori will also help Arsenal to fight for the Premier League title. His major role will be to make sure that Arsenal’s defence maintains the momentum that they had last season by conceding very few goals.
Arsenal’s defence was the best last season and therefore he knows that Mikel Arteta expects a lot from him. Riccardo Calafiori will also add his experience in the team and he will also add some more tactics from his former team Bologna.
