What was Witnessed in Arsenal’s 3-0 Victory Against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League

Arsenal met Bodo/Glimt in another game of the Europa League. Mikel Arteta reshuffled his squad for that encounter. He used a 3-4-1-2 formation. Matt Turner was named as the goalkeeper,the defence had Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel and Rob Holding.

The midfield was packed by Marquinhos, Granit Xhaxa, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Kieran Tierney. Fabio Vieira was played as an attacking midfielder as Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah led the striking force.

The first half started on a very high note and it was very evident that the club wanted nothing less than 3 points from that game. Kieran Tierney hit the goalpost with a thunderous strike and it bounced back to Eddie Nketiah’s foot. He made another strike that even the goalkeeper could not save. This gave the Gunners the first goal.


Fabio Vieira then made a brilliant cross that landed on Rob Holding’s head. He headed home the second goal of the day. The two teams went for the first half break when the score line was 2-0 in favor of the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta made some serious changes in the second half despite the fact that his team was leading. He substituted Granit Xhaxa and brought in Martin Odegaard, he also brought Gabriel Jesus in place of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka in place of Marquinhos, Ben White in place of Kieran Tierney and Reiss Nelson in place of Eddie Nketiah.


The substitutes also changed the game and Gabriel Jesus gave Fabio Vieira a brilliant pass that led to the third goal. Arsenal got a commanding 3-0 win against their opponents and the club is now on top of their group.
