What was Witnessed in Chelsea’s 2-2 Comeback Draw Against Aston Villa

Aston Villa hosted Chelsea at the Villa Park for another thrilling match of the English Premier League. The game started on a very high note and the Aston Villa players demonstrated how they meant business.

Chelsea went down in the fourth minute after Marc Cucurella scored an own goal. Moments later Nicolas Jackson equalized the goal but it was ruled out for an offside by the VAR.

Matty Cash then gave Morgan Rogers a brilliant pass and he successfully converted the pass and scored the second goal for Aston Villa. The club however suffered a first half injury scare and Youri Tielemans was substituted and his place was taken by Moussa Diaby.

The first half ended 2-0 in favor of Aston Villa. The second half started on a very high note and the Chelsea players came back more rejuvenated to fight. Noni Madueke pulled one goal for Chelsea and this gave them the morale to build on that momentum.

Noni Madueke was again involved in the second goal and he provided an assist for Conor Gallagher who equalized the goal.

Unai Emery made a total of five changes. He substituted Emiliano Martinez and replaced him with Robin Olsen, Leon Bailey with Diego Carlos, Douglas Luiz with Tim Iroegbunamad Moussa Diaby with Jhon Durin.

Mauricio Pochettino only made two changes and he substituted Mykhailo Mudryk and replaced him with Cesrae Casadei. He also substituted Thiago Silva and replaced him with Axel Disasi. The game ended 2-2 and the two teams shared a point each
