Manchester United met Crystal Palace in another game of the English Premier League. The Red Devils went into that game with high spirits after beating Manchester City over the weekend in the Manchester Derby. Crystal Palace on the other end went into the game as wounded soldiers after suffering a defeat against Chelsea over the weekend.

Erik ten Hag made a couple of changes in his squad He reverted Luke Shaw back in his right back position and introduced Lisandro Martinez to partner with Raphael Varane in the centre back position.

He also brought in Antony and Wout Weghorst in the first team. The first was a very tough one and it was even tough for goals to come through. Christian Eriksen gave Bruno Fernandes a good pass and the captain of the night put his club ahead.

The second half also proved to be tougher and the game was still looking like an open one because all the teams were striking very hard on their opponents side. Erik ten Hag made some changes in order to inject new energy in the team.

He substituted Wout Weghorst and brought in Scott McTominay, Antony and brought in Alejandro Garnacho and Christian Eriksen and brought in Fred. Patrick Vieira also made a couple of changes.

He substituted Jean-Phillipe Mateta and brought in Eberechi Eze, Odsonne Edouard and brought in Jordan Ayew, Cheick Oumar Doucoure and brought in Jefrey Schlupp and Will Hughes and brought in Luka Milivojevic.

Manchester United got a rude shock towards the end of the game after Casemiro got a yellow card and this now automatically means that he will be out of the game against Arsenal on Sunday. The club was also shocked after Michael Olise took a free kick that went straight into the net for an equalizer.

All the teams tried to find a winning goal but they did not manage. The game ended 1-1 and this was a blow to Manchester United because the three points could have been very ideal for their chase of the title race.
