Manchester United will kick start this season’s Premier League against Fulham. This will be the opening game of the 2024/2025 Premier League season. The game will be played at the Old Trafford Stadium, which is the home ground of the Red Devils.
Things may however not be in favor of Manchester United despite the fact that, the game will be played at the Old Trafford. Fulham has all it takes to beat the Red Devils.
The last game that the two clubs played, was in the month of February. That was the second leg of last season. It was played at the Old Trafford and Fulham taught Manchester United a lesson by thrashing the club 2-1.
These were the goals that were scored by Bassey and Alex Iwobi. The club has mastered the art of beating Manchester United and they can do it again this season, especially in the opening game of the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag himself, has casted doubts in his team and he has stated that, things are not well at Manchester United. He however stated that, they will just deal with their problems even if the Premier League will start today.
He was backed up by the Management and he has been allowed to bring on board the players that he wanted. The club is however hit by some injuries and some fitness issues.
Fulham too has bolstered their squad and the Manager has bought some players who will reinforce the club. One of the players is Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal who is super talented but lacked enough game time due to injuries and the squad depth at Arsenal.
The Premier League is very dynamic and no team can be underrated and no team can also be treated as underdogs. Fulham has been very busy in the transfer market and they will surely prove to Manchester United that they can get all the three points against them for the second time in a row.
