Erik ten Hag has stated that the Manchester United team is not very ready for the new season in as much as the new season begins today. He added that, he had players who were out in the EURO 2024 and Copa America and they were not available entirely for the pre-season as they were practicing.
Erik ten Hag also added that, he has bought new players and they have not yet integrated well in the team. Aside from that, he also added that Manchester United has been hard hit with injuries and this may slow their start of the new season.
This means that he is afraid because he did not have enough time during the pre-season to assess all his players. The club did also not perform very well during the pre-season. The club recorded mixed results and that did not give him a good overview of the players.
Erik ten Hag may somehow be right because, there is a lot of disconnect in the Manchester United squad. The team needs a lot of time for the key players to integrate with the new signings. It will now force the club and the players to integrate while playing.
This may be somehow dangerous because the club can meet very dangerous attacking football team that may dismantle them and disorient their formation. Manchester United is however a very big team and the players will surely find their way and navigate through because of the experience that they have.
All eyes are now waiting to see how Manchester United will perform in this new season. Erik ten Hag has been helped by the Management to buy the players he needed, the ball is now on his court to deliver.
