Chelsea started the Premier League season on a very low note and the club is currently struggling to get back to its roots. The new owners of the club trusted Graham Potter with the job and they also backed him up by buying all the players that he needed in order to at least steer the club back to the top four.
The new Manager will have a lot of selection headache in the forward line. He currently has a lot of good players at his disposal. He David Datro Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Armando Broja, Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.
He already has a lot of headache because it seems that he does not trust Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and his centre forward. This has made him to use Kai Havertz who is an attacking midfielder in that position despite the fact that he has talented centre forwards who can perform that role perfectly.
Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix are also very good forward players who have the abilities to torment defenders. They cannot just be benched because they were brought in to strengthen the team.
On the other hand, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Raheem Sterling and Hakim Ziyech are also good players and it will be very difficult for them Manager to play one and leave the other on the bench. Hakim Ziyech had already sensed danger and he wanted to leave to PSG but his deal collapsed at the last hour.
If Graham Potter does not balance his team well, then he will have a lot of hard time in dealing with the super stars that he has in his club. He needs to start delivering before he is kicked out from his position as the Manager of Chelsea.
