Written by The Premier League action is back after the International break. The weekend will be opened with a very mouth watering game between Manchester City and Liverpool. These are the top two teams respectively in the Premier League table currently.
There are however very many reasons as to why Manchester City will emerge victorious and carry the day in this game. Pep Guardiola is more concerned with the three points and he also wants to maintain that top position especially after snatching it away from Tottenham Hotspurs.
Manchester City also has a very superior squad as far as quality is concerned. Aside from quality, the club also has a very good squad depth with very sharp first team players and reserve players.
Manchester City has strong pillars players in all positions and this may give them advantage over their opponents. A good exsmple is Rodri in the midfield and Erling Haaland in the forward line. These are players who have a lot of stake in that team and they are the driving forces and the engines of the team.
This is not to belittle Liverpool because Jurgen Klopp also has a very strong squad that can conpete and give Manchester City a run for their own money. The club is also eyeing the top spot and the players have shown that they also mean nothing but business this season.
This will be a very entertaining game because it will be a game of supremacy to check who runs the show in the English Premier League.
