Arsenal met Newcastle United in another tensed game of the English Premier League. It was a battle between the club that so far has the best defence in the league and the club that has one of the best forward and attacking players.
Supremacy was at it best and all the players tried to prove that their teams are not in the positions that they are currently holding because of luck. Arsenal is leading the park after a very long yike while Newcastle is also enjoying the position three after a very long wait.
The game ended 0-0 and Newcastle United’s defence and the goalkeeper denied the Arsenal players a couple of goals. The Gunners could not fire because of how organized Eddie Howe approached the game.
Arsenal’s weakness was however depicted in the game and it could be a stambling block to its quest for the Premier League title. Mikel Arteta made only one change and that was Takehiro Tomiyasu who was brought in to replace Ben White who was fatigued.
This wqs a shock change because what the Manager needed was an attack minded player to penetrate the defence of their opponents but did not see any suitable player on the bench. Arsenal does not have the players who can impact the game and score goals when needed.
This means that the Gunners do not have the squad depth and this is very dangerous for a team that is seeking to win the Premier League title. The remaining games are very many and it is possible that the young Gunners will get fatigued with time given the time that there are many games and also other competitions too.
This is a major weakness because teams which are in that race like Manchester City have enough players in all departments and all of them are superstars, in fact Manchester City’s Team B can compete favorably in the Premier League and still cause more problems to more teams.
The other weakness is that the Gunners cannot cope well with well organized defence. This therefore calls for more reinforcements in the squad so as to sign another all round player who is equally creative.

Arsenal should therefore act quickly during this transfer window and bring in atleast an attacking player and another midfielder who can adapt quickly to Mikel Arteta’s philosophy.
