Written by Honorable Babu Owino who is the Member of Parliament of Embakasi East Constituency has taken a jibe at Governor Johnson Sakaja after Nairobi County was ranked as the most corrupt County in Kenya.
The vocal legislator shared the list on his social media handles and he asked a question regarding where the people of Nairobi County missed the way and went wrong.
“Wamadimplez ranked as the most corrupt Governor in Kenya. Tulikosea wapi jameni?” Babu Owino shared.
Kenyans also said that the country is not headed in the right direction because corruption is all over the country and it is even in the grassroots in the county. They said that the only difference is the level of the corruption but all counties are corrupt and that is the disease that is ailing the country.
Governor Johnson Sakaja has been finding it rough because he has to deal with many critics owing to the fact that he leads a very vibrant county.
Honorable Babu Owino on the other side is also flexing his muscles and he feels that it is now time that he should focus on the County politics after successfully delivering his mandate as the Member of Parliament of Embakasi East.
Most of his supporters have been urging him to now take the mantle and be at the helm of the County top seat. He has a very huge following and when he enters that race, then Governor Sakaja will have a very worthy competitor come 2027.
Honorable Babu Owino is a great force to reckon with and it seems that he is gearing up to remove Governor Sakaja from his seat and he is preparing himself politically. Governor Sakaja on the other hand is also not in very good terms with his Senator Edwin Sifuna whose mandate is to oversight Nairobi County.
