Kenyatta University held its 52nd Graduation ceremony physically at the Kenyatta University Graduation square on Friday 16th December 2022. It was an event that was graced by various dignitaries from the National government.
51 Phds, 356 Masters Degrees and 4862 Certificate, Diploma and Bachelors Degrees were conferred at the ceremony.
The Deputy President, honorable Rigathi Gachagua was in attendance and he stated to the graduands that, Graduation is a transition to the next phase of life. He also added that they have been fully equipped and he is hoping that the skills acquired will enable them to impact the world.
The Chancellor, Dr. Benson Wairegi also spoke and told the graduands that they are the generation that will take the technology of today to the new dimensions. He also encouraged them not to live life so cautiously that they miss the life’s opportunities.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Paul Wainaina also gave his remarks together with the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Honorable Ezekiel Machogu.
Robin Toskin is the one who gave his remarks on behalf of the alumni of the institution. The Member of Parliament of Kiharu constituency, honorable Ndindi Nyoro was also in attendance as he accompanied the Deputy President. He is also an alumnus of the institution.
The Graduates have now been given the Powers to read and write and to do anything that pertains to the courses that they studied for all the years that they were in school since different courses take different time frames.
We wish all the graduates all the best as they now transition into the job market to practice what they have been learning theoretically.
