Written by Chelsea welcomed West Ham United in another clash of the English Premier League at Stamford Bridge. This was one of the best evenings this season for Chelsea because the club got the perfect results and they moved higher in the Premier League Table.
The first half started on a very high note and Cole Palmer scored the opening goal of the day after getting a cool pass from Nicolas Jackson. The Captain of the side, Conor Gallagher added the second goal before Thiago Silva gave Noni Madueke a brilliant pass that led to the third goal.
The first half ended 3-0 in favor of Chelsea. The second half started on a very high note and Noni Madueke set up a good pass for Nicolas Jackson and he scored the fourth goal. The goals kept on raining and Nicolas Jackson added the third one after Moises Caicedo gave him a good pass.
Mauricio Pochettino made several changes in his squad. He substituted Noni Madueke and replaced him with Cesare Casadei, Mykhailo Mudryk with Christopher Nkunku, Thiago Silva with Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah with Malo Gusto and Cole Palmer with Alfie Gilchrist.
Daadiv Moyes only made three changes. He substituted Edson Alvarez and replaced him with James Ward-Prowse, Michail Antonio with Danny Ings and Lucas Paqueta with Aaron Cresswell.
West Ham hit the cross bar three times and Jarrod Bowen is the one who was unlucky those four times. The game ended 5-0 in favor of Chelsea and the win took the club to position 7 with 54 points.
This has now raised the hopes of Chelsea of finishing in a European spot next season and the players will surely give their best so that they can at least qualify for a European spot next season.
The team is also growing well and it is a proof that next season Chelsea will be a force to reckon with.
