The Majority Leader in the National Assembly, honorable Kimani Ichung’wah has told honorable Raila Odinga that he needs to humble himself if he wants President William Ruto to continue lobbying for him so that he can get the African Union Chairperson seat.
He added that the Head of State is honorable Raila Odinga’s Chief Campaigner and therefore he should accord him all the respect that he deserves.
He said that where honorable Raila Odinga failed with his handshake brothers, President William Ruto is busy fixing.
“We want to tell Raila Odinga that where you failed together with your handshake brothers, President William Ruto is fixing it today.” Said Honorable Kimani Ichung’wah.
Kimani Ichung’wah was responding to the sentiments of Raila Odinga that the driver of the Kenya Kwanza government who is President William Ruto does not know where the steering wheel is and he even said some of the Cabinet Secretaries in this regime cannot be compared to the Cabinet Secretaries who were appointed by the former President, honorable Uhuru Kenyatta.
He also added President William Ruto understands the issues of the economy better than him and he has managed to turn the economy around. He also added that President William Ruto understands the politics of the country and that is why he managed to defeat him in the 2022 general elections even when he was backed and supported by the sitting government of the day at that time.
He continued to say that President Ruto also understands the world politics and that is why he is busy campaigning for him for the African Union Chairperson position.
