The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, honorable Rigathi has finally broken the silence and answered the Majority Leader in the National Assembly, honorable Kimani Ichung’wah.
The Deputy President who was speaking in Mombasa county during the opening of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya International Scientific Conference, said that every person has somewhere where they originated from and everyone has a place where they all call home.
He continued to say that people only visit Cities to earn a living but all in all everyone has their own home and their village. He also added that he will just shortly fly to Nairobi and then travel to his village.
The Deputy President also said that everybody should be proud with where they come from and no one should ever feel embarrassed for that. He also addressed the leaders who are branding other leaders and politicians to desist from that because it shows some level of disrespect.
Honorable Kimani Ichung’wah on 6th June 2024 had insinuated that it is not easy to build a Kingdom with someone who still wants the attention from his village.
The Deputy President on the other end said that he will continue to speak in his vernacular language when he is at home because it also shows that he respects his origin and values it highly.
There is discord in Mount Kenya and the Kenya Kwanza leaders are no longer speaking one language the way they used to speak towards the 2022 General elections. It seems that there are already two factions of leaders in the Kenya Kwanza government.
There are those who have stuck with President William Ruto and there are also those who are allied to the deputy President. They have in several occasions said that honorable Rigathi Gachagua is not being treated well in the government and they are not happy about it because they were one team and they also contributed to the success of the Kenya Kwanza government in the elections.
