Fresh Details Emerge on What Uhuru Told Ruto Over the Phone on Police Officers Guarding his Home

Fresh details have emerged on the phone conversation that President William Ruto had with the former President, honorable Uhuru Kenyatta after there were uproar from his office that the government has neglected the office of the former President.

The Cabinet Secretary of Public Service, honorable Moses Kuria said that honorable Uhuru Kenyatta wanted to be given more than forty police officers to guard his home.

The vocal Cabinet Secretary said that President William Ruto shared the details of the phone conversation that he had with honorable Uhuru Kenyatta and he told them the content of what they discussed.

Moses Kuria said that honorable Uhuru Kenyatta needs additional police officers as opposed to the forty who are currently guarding his home. He added that honorable Uhuru Kenyatta was told to determine the number of police officers who he want.

Moses Kuria also made a joke about it and said that he only has two security officers but he understands the threshold of the office of the former President to request more than forty police officers.

The Cabinet Secretary of Public Service then disclosed that President William Ruto formed a Committee that includes the Interior Cabinet Secretary, honorable Kithure Kindiki, the Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome and Moses Kuria himself as the Cabinet Secretary of Public Service so that they can look into the other grievances that were aired out by the office of the former President.

Some of the things that the Committee will delve into is the Staffing of the former President’s office. There have been a lot of cries coming from that end and that is why it forced Kanze Dena to come out and challenge the Kenya Kwanza Administration.

President Ruto jumped into the matter so that he can calm the situation after the matter seemed to be getting out of hand. The report from Kanze Dena was conflict with that of the Government Spokesperson, Isaac Mwaura.
