Political temperatures have been rising in the Mount Kenya region and some of the people from that region and some people have been feeling that their sons from the Mountain are being treated unfairly.
Supporters of the Deputy President have been alleging that honorable Rigathi Gachagua is facing tough times in the government and he is being treated wrongly. Kanze Dena also came out and said that the office of the former President honorable Uhuru Kenyatta is also being neglected and it has not been receiving funding as it should.
Political Analyst Herman Manyora has told President William Ruto that his government is inciting some hatred in Mount Kenya region by denying the former President and also mistreating his Deputy, honorable Rigathi Gachagua.
He also added that even though the former President, honorable Uhuru Kenyatta is out of office, he still controls the Mount Kenya region and the Deputy President too controls a huge crowd in that region.
He said that their concerns are really angering the people of the Mount Kenya region and this may work against President William Ruto in the race for the 2027 elections. He added that the consequences may be very severe for President William Ruto because he will have to deal with a revolt of voters who contributed hugely in his victory in the 2022 general elections.
Some analysts also believe that the accusations of the former President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Deputy President honorable Rigathi Gachagua are meant to stir up a debate in the Mount Kenya region and upset and shake President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Administration.
Political Analyst Martin Oloo also stated that if President William Ruto will decide to confront the two leaders, then he will spark some divisive politics in the Mount Kenya region.
The Governor of Nyeri County, honorable Mutahi Kahiga has been very bold in criticizing the Administration of President William Ruto by stating that his government is really frustrating honorable Rigathi Gachagua.
