Hassan Joho Clears the air on his Education From Scoring D- in KCSE, Attaining Two Degrees and Ongoing Masters

The former Governor of Mombasa County, honorable Hassan Joho was the first Cabinet Secretary Nominee to appear before the Parliamentary Committee on Sunday morning. He was put to task to answer the question on his Academic Credentials.

Honorable Hassan Joho stated clearly that, he could have wondered if the question on his Academic credentials could not arise in that Committee. He added that, this question as always come up every time that he gets an opportunity to lead.

Honorable Hassan Joho stated that, after finishing his KCPE, he took a one year off, this is because his parents did not have the ability to take him to school. He then joined High School one year later. While in High School, honorable Hassan Joho, made a deal with his Principal and he is the only student who was being allowed to leave school early so that he can go and work in order to pay his school fees because he was sponsoring himself.

He later finished High school and he attained D-. He did not join the University immediately. He set up a clearing and forwarding company in Mombasa and then later ventured into Fintech. He also did Real Estate Business and then Logistics largely.

Hassan Joho then did a bridging course that enabled him to join the University. He then did a Diploma Course in 2007 and then eventually graduated from Kampala University in the year 2013. He then joined Gretsa University for another Degree. He then enrolled for his Masters Degree at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Honorable Hassan Joho also said that he wishes that, the question on his Education credentials can finally come to a conclusion because he has extensively exhausted the matter.

Hassan Joho also promised the Appointment Committee that if they approve him, then next time when he will appear before them, they will be talking to a PhD Holder and they will be referring to him as Dr. Hassan Joho.
