Written by The Deputy President honorable Rigathi Gachagua has revealed how the downfall of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta as the Mount Kenya kingpin was planned and executed well.
Speaking in a Kiambu Church, Gachagua alluded that the first meeting to discuss the matter was held in Naivasha in honorable Jane Kihara’s house. This was done immediately after honorable Uhuru made peace with Raila Odinga during the highly celebrated handshake of 2018.
The Deputy President added that in the meeting it was agreed that the now president who was the then second in command, honorable William Ruto should be packaged as a Presidential candidate for 2022 general election and he should be sold to the Mount Kenya people as the most suitable candidate and the successor of Uhuru Kenyatta.
Apart from Gachagua and Kihara, other members of Parliament were incorporated and they are Ndindi Nyoro of Kiharu Constituency, Kimani Ichungwah of Kikuyu Constituency, Alice Wahome of Kandara Constituency, and Moses Kuria of Gatundu South Constituency.
Their main mission was to work and see that the president whom they viewed as having abandoned the earlier Pledges he made, doesn’t succeed in his mission and true to their plot, Uhuru Kenyatta was humiliated on August 9 when his candidate honorable Raila Odinga of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition lost to President William Ruto.
The six leaders then later on recruited other leaders and they launched anti- Uhuru Kenyatta campaigns in the Mount Kenya region and they later campaigned against Uhuru Kenyatta’s perceived Deep State and State Capture and his family’s dominance in politics.
The Deputy President also added that they were aware of the consequences of their actions and they were ready for the persecution that was going to follow them because they were going to be anti-government despite the fact that they were in that same government
