The woes of Leicester City continued in their game against Crystal Palace. Brendan Rodgers named a very strong squad with both Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho on the pitch. Patrick Vieira also named a strong squad with a strong forward line of Jordan Ayew, Odsonne Edouard and Wilfred Zaha.
The first half started on a very high note and the Leicester City players stole the show. Kelechi Iheanacho scored the first goal that set the momentum of the game. Moments later, Jamie Vardy scored the second goal after he received a brilliant pass from Harvey Barnes. The first half ended 2-0 in favor of Leicester City.
Patrick Vieira made some changes in the second half that helped the club to make a great comeback. He removed Jordan Ayew and replaced him with Michael Olise, he also replaced Conor Gallagher with Jeffrey Schlupp. Odsonne Edouard also gave way for Christian Benteke. The substitutes are the ones who made a difference.
Michael Olise pulled one goal back for Crystal Palace. This gave the players the belief that they could still stage a comeback in the game. Jeffrey Schlupp also added the second goal. This made the clubs to be at level. The Crystal Palace players defended the draw until the last minute.
Brendan Rodgers also made some changes in his side. He substituted Hamza Choudhury and replaced him with Boubakary Soumare. He also removed Kelechi Iheanacho and replaced him with James Maddison. Ademola Lookman also gave way for Marc Albrighton. All the players who were brought in are very good but they did not help the team to get the needed victory. The game ended 2-2.
