A man who was accused in June 2020 for defiling her daughter was arraigned in a Kibera court. The man was arrested after a neighbour heard her making some funny noise at night. The neighbor then called other neighbours and they fixed the man by saying that the girl could not make such noise without something happening.
The lady said while testifying that after the arrest of his father, she was called to the police station and she was forced to admit and lie that she was defiled. In her statement, his father was just massaging her, this is after she had a minor injury in her arm.
She also said that she is the one who asked her father to massage he so that the arm can get better. It is during this time that she made a lot of noise that made one of the neighbours who was peeping to conclude that the noise that she was making was as a result of defilement.
According to the young lady, the sound that prompted the neighbour to conclude that it was defilement is “ouch.” She even said that she was being massaged in the presence of his sister and therefore the court should listen to her because her father is very innocent.
The thing that made the case more complex is the fact that she went to court with a young baby. According to her, she got pregnant in an orphanage where their neighbours took her after they had ganged up and locked her father in prison.
The judge said that the lady was a hostile witness and the case was adjourned until next month. The lady however said that she is telling nothing but the truth without any lie because her father is being implicated for a crime he did not commit.
