Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah Reacts as DP Gachagua Travels Using Kenya Airways Carrying his own Luggage

The Majority leader in the National Assembly and Member of Parliament of Kikuyu Constituency, honorable Kimani Ichung’wah has finally reacted after the Deputy President, honorable Rigathi Gachagua travelled using Kenya Airways.

He wrote on his social media platforms that neither the government of Kenya nor President William Ruto will succumb to blackmail. He also added that no amount of sympathy seeking photos, vernacular stations and blogging will handover billions to satisfy one’s greed for power and money.

The Deputy President was seen at the airport alone and he also carried his suitcase alone. The second in command travelled with the other passengers. Normally the Deputy President is always given his plane to take him to different places that he wants to go to.

The sentiments of the Majority Leader in the National Assembly shows that there is a rift in the ruling United Democratic Alliance and it has not yet been addressed. The allies of the Deputy President have been complaining that he is being treated unfairly.

They recently demanded that the Deputy should be treated fairly because he is also part and parcel of the government and he also brought a lot of votes on the table.

The Mountain seems to have erupted and there are two factions, that which supports President William Ruto and that which supports the Deputy President honorable Rigathi Gachagua. The two factions is not healthy for the people of the Mount Kenya region because they always face the bargaining table as people who speak one voice.

As things stand now, there is also another faction still in the Mount Kenya region that is affiliated to the opposition. Honorable Martha Karua and honorable Jeremiah Kioni hosted the Limuru III meeting and they also unveiled their newly formed coalition that is known as the Haki Coalition.

It was formed by consolidating the various small parties in the Mount Kenya region to come up with a very strong team.
