Mikel Arteta Drops Bombshell, Hints on Emile Smith Rowe’s Transfer Exit from Arsenal

Mikel Arteta has dropped yet another bombshell after hinting that Emile Smith Rowe’s exit from the Emirates is imminent and he may even go in the coming weeks and leave Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta made a tough decision and dropped him from the squad that faced Bournemouth in their pre-season game. This is a match which ended in a 1-1 draw and Arsenal later won it on post match penalties after beating Bournemouth 5-4.

Mikel Arteta confirmed that his decision to leave the talented creative midfielder was because there are so many things that are happening in the background and therefore they thought that it was necessary to leave Emile Smith Rowe out of the squad.

This is a clear indication that the deal for Smith Rowe is being discussed in the backrooms and since it can affect his performance, they felt that it was very necessary to keep him off for now.

It should be noted that Arsenal had rejected a bid by Fulham and it seems that the club is very determined to land the England international player. As things stand, Emile Smith Rowe may not feature for Arsenal again because the deal is almost sealed.

Emile Smith Rowe is a super talented player and he even inherited the famous and influential jersey number 10 which was worn by Mesut Ozil at the age of just 21 years old. He has always impressed whenever given the chance by the Manager.

His major problem has been a groin injury which has made it tough for him to break through the first team and get regular playing time. He has lacked some game time and therefore a deal for him to get regular playing time will help him to shine and get the flowers that he deserves.

Many Arsenal fans were however opposed to the sale of Emile Smith Rowe because they feel that his exit may haunt Arsenal in the future like that of Serge Gnabry. He has grown from the Arsenal Academy and therefore he is a homegrown talent.
