MP Kimani Kuria Claims House and 3 Cars Burnt, 10,000 Chicken, 6 Cows, 29 Goats Stolen by Protesters

The Member of Parliament of Molo Constituency honorable Kimani Kuria is one of the politicians who met the wrath of his Constituents and he is counting loses after his home was attacked and burnt by the angry protesters against the Finance Bill. He also added that his 3 cars were also vandalized and burnt down.

Aside from that, his 10,000 chicken were stolen alongside 6 cows and 29 goats. The police report however indicated that four cows were already recovered and apparently one cow had already been slaughtered by the protesters and it seems that they feasted on that meat. The 6 Cows were grade cows.

His Constituents raided his home because he voted Yes for the Finance Bill and to add on that, he is also the Chairman of the Finance Committee at the National Assembly. He faced the wrath and anger of Kenyans and his constituents who wanted him to oppose the Bill that thy termed as oppressive and was going to add more burden to Kenyans.

The Gen Z who have been leading the protests said that they want to bring sanity to the country and that is why they have risen and said that they will fight for their rights and oppose anything that they feel is not good for the country.

President William Ruto however said that he has conceded defeat and he has withdrawn the Finance Bill and it is now upon the Parliament to take the next steps. The move of the President however angered very many people and they said that if measures were taken early enough and the voices of the people heard, then the country could have not found itself in the space that it is in currently.

The Gen Z still went on the Streets even after the President stated that he has withdrawn the Finance Bill.
