The preliminaries reports have indicated that the helicopter was not mechanically in a good state because its engine allegedly failed and that is where the whole problem started because the propeller was doomed due to the engine failure and led to the demise of General Francis Ogolla and his other colleagues.
The sudden demise of General Francis Ogolla caused a lot of uproar in the country and especially the opposition and the leaders who hail from his Nyanza region backyard. Many leaders requested President William Ruto to form an investigative panel that will be transparent and tell Kenyans what exactly happened so that the matter can be put to rest.
President William Ruto promised a speedy investigation and he said that all the findings will be shown to the public without hiding anything. The requests were made public by some of the ODM leaders during the burial of General Francis Ogolla in Siaya County.
General Francis Ogolla was indeed a good man and many people will miss his services from the Forces to the other citizens because he was a humanitarian champion and he was really helping a lot of people while he was still alive. His impact will continue to be felt.
