Written by The vocal and vibrant Orange Democratic Movement Member of County Assembly who represents Kileleshwa ward, honorable Robert Alai has read malice in Kenya Kwanza’s support for Raila Odinga to become the next Chairperson of the African Union Commission.
Robert Alai claimed that, the Kenya Kwanza government might have structured the African Union Chairperson campaign for honorable Raila Odinga only to embarrass him and later mock him for losing yet another election as always.
Robert Alai added that he does not trust the Kenya Kwanza government on this at all. He added that this might just be another new way of trying to fail the former Prime Minister so that they can laugh at him again for losing again even at the continent level which is even a greater and higher level in Africa.
It should be noted that the Kenya Kwanza politicians have always mocked Raila Odinga when it comes to elections. They have in several occasions referred to him as a perennial failure. This is what Robert Alai is alleging and this is what is giving him the fear that all may not be right according to his instincts.
On the other hand, it should also be noted that if honorable Raila Odinga gets the job, then the Kenya Kwanza government will breath and it will be as easy as giving President William Ruto an easy task in the 2027 general elections because he will not vie for the Presidency again.
His sentiments were however not taken lightly by Kenyans who told Robert Alai that he should not politicize everything. They said that, honorable Raila Odinga has a very massive connection across the continent and he will surely clinch that seat.
They also added that the politicians should stop using the former Prime Minister for their selfish gains. They added that honorable Raila Odinga should be allowed to take that position so that he can retire peacefully from politics and also retire in a very honorable manner with a top job in the continent.
Kenyans also added that Raila needs this job because he has helped very many people to clinch their seats and they now have a job yet he is jobless. They urged him to go for that top seat and eventually clinch it.
