Painful and sorrowful details have emerged that the Meru MCA who is known as honorable Mwenda Ali whose car crashed and killed two of his daughters, was rushing to Nairobi to escort his wife to India for further treatment because she was ill and not feeling well.
It is very sad that the journey to Nairobi did not end up well and he did not even get the chance to see the wife who was also battling a disease that only needed specialized treatment from the specialized doctors in India.
Reports indicated that the accident happened along the Meru-Embu road. The Embu County Commander who is known as Nicholas Maina confirmed that the accident happened as a result of a head on collision between the MCA’s Subaru and a Toyota Hilux.
The MCA’s vehicle lit up and it was sad that one of her daughters died on the spot and she was only six years old while the other one died upon arrival at the Karen Hospital. She could not survive the injuries that she sustained due to the accident.
The driver of the MCA and the MCA himself were all seriously injured. Honorable Mwenda Ali got some serious cuts and some chest pains but it was contained by the doctors. It was confirmed that he is out of danger and recovering well.
Accidents have been very rampant and it is very sad to lose two children when the wife is also critically ill and needs even more medical attention. What the MCA is feeling he is the only person who can understand now because losing two children in one accident is very devastating.
