Sada is by Salama’s side at the village’s family meeting. She claims she has tried repeatedly to work with them to resolve issues in the Village but has been repeatedly ignored. Sada promises vengeance on Major for his wrongdoing. Babu warns her not to start a war with Major because of Mwanzele and Zuu, who demand to know how they will be repaid. Sada explains that she has a history of animosity with Major, that is the reason as to why she is taking this action. Bi Salama hasn’t stopped sobbing. Sada interrogates them to find out if they know the reason she fled the village. After her father passed away, she told them, Major became a major adversary in matters of inheritance.
Major and Fatima are in the living room of Major’s home. Since JJ abandoned his mother in such a fragile condition, Major explains to Fatima that he simply cannot comprehend him. When Dida walks through the door, Fatima yells at her, demanding to know where she is from. Dida gives Fatima the cold shoulder and tells her she is an adult who doesn’t need permission to go out. Fatima becomes enraged, but Dida reminds her that she is a villager and should mourn alongside her neighbors. Fatima is taken aback, but she quickly explains that she belongs in Major’s house, not the village. Dida is told that JJ is a wealthy man, but the actress dismisses this information.
Since his home is not a marketplace, Major tells them to chill out and act like they’ve been there for years. Angry and fuming, JJ emerges from his room to lash out at Dida. Dida doesn’t give a damn as he looks at her with disdain in his eyes.
Sada tells the family members in the village to grieve in peace and trust that everything will work out in due time. To put it simply, Mwanzele is on Sada’s side. Sada assures Salama that she can unwind knowing that she has the love and support of everyone around her. Sada tells her he has to go back to Major’s house and that they need to make a decision about what to do with Major when she returns.
Kokan and Sultana have gone to the beach. In Kokan’s eyes, JJ is not worthy of a princess like Sultana. According to Sultana’s account to Kokan, JJ is a good guy who isn’t getting Sultana’s attention because of Major. Kokan argues that Sultana is too special for anyone to appreciate her the way he does. Kokan reveals to Sultana that he was about to commit suicide but for her intervention. To clarify, Sultana orders Kokan to do so. It’s a long story, Kokan says, so he’ll have to save it for another time. He assures her that he will help her recover her sight.
JJ confronts Dida about cheating with Kaka at Major’s house. Dida asks JJ for an explanation, but JJ insists that she is the one who should provide it. JJ reveals to Dida that he witnessed the entire interaction between her and Kaka. Dida presses him for details, but JJ tells her to drop the charade. Dida accuses JJ of being a traitor for keeping his marriage a secret. Major and Fatima both feel a sudden jolt of fear. Dida reveals that she has seen their marriage license and that they are now officially husband and wife. Dida leaves, and JJ is left without words. With hard eyes, Major approaches JJ and appears ready to kick him. As much as Fatima tries to hold it together, she just wants to cry.
Kokan asks Sultana for a divorce from JJ while they are at the beach because he has never heard of anyone getting married in a hospital. When Kokan expresses concern about getting married in a hospital, Sultana assures him that he need not worry. Kokan tells Sultana she is a princess and should have a grand wedding because of her status. When Kokan says he wants to marry Sultana in a big ceremony, Sultan sarcastically smiles. Sultana informs Kokan that his conversation has made her uncomfortable and that she must leave. Suddenly, she rises to her feet.
Currently, JJ can be found shut away in his bedroom. While in Sultana’s presence, he examines his marriage license. Because of the recent deaths of two women, JJ is bewildered. The befuddled Major and Fatima have joined you in the living room. The sanity of Fatima appears to be eroding. JJ weeps openly.
Part 2
Big Man comes in and knocks on JJ’s door. Straight away, he goes to get JJ’s marriage license. As JJ observes from the restroom, he settles in to read them. Major confides in JJ that he has come to the conclusion that he wed the worthless girl. JJ confirms this and rushes over to take the certificate from Major, who stubbornly refuses to let go. A real man, Major tells JJ, would never get married without first consulting with his father. Major tells JJ that he doesn’t need his parents’ approval because he’s so self-reliant. JJ confides in Major that telling Sultana’s father about their impending nuptials would have been a huge mistake. Major gets up from the table and walks away with the marriage licenses.
Fatima is upset in the living room because Dida told Major everything. The certificates are brought down by Major, and Fatima inquires as to how things went with JJ. According to Major, it is true that Dida and Kaka had their thing, but what JJ did was unbelievable. In order to destroy the certificates, Major requests a matchbox be brought to him by Asiya. The marriage licenses of JJ and Major are destroyed in an arson attack. facing Asia and Fatima. JJ reaches ground level and is shocked by what he has witnessed. Disappointed, he returns to his room.
Kokan is trailing Sultana as she returns home. So that Kokan can keep up with her, he begs her to go at a slower pace. Shortly after, Sultana gets to her feet, and Kokan begins apologizing. Sultana reveals to Kokan that everyone else thinks she’s worthless. She is the only beautiful woman in Kokan’s world, he tells her, and he loves her. Kokan informs Sultana that he has looked into her vision restoration options and found that she does not need surgery. Inquisition strikes in Sultana.
At home, Major channels his rage toward Asia. He reveals to her that he has been keeping JJ’s marriage a secret, despite the fact that she was already aware of it. Asia reveals to Major that she witnessed Bi Ua making wedding preparations but assumed she was just getting ready for Major’s return. The news shocks Fatima. Bi Asia explains that Ua invited Sultana and Bi Salama to his house. Fatima reveals to Major that she and Dida were wrong; Major is the one who has let them down. Despite Major’s reassurances, Fatima is confused because she fears JJ will derail everything.
Bi Ua is troubled by flashbacks and visions of the time just before she was struck by Major. Taking care of his family comes first, so Major makes a phone call from the living room to reschedule a meeting. Fatima has the impression that Major is faking a phone conversation with someone. She snatches the phone away from Major, who was acting as if he were on the phone. She becomes irate and tells him that he has crossed the line by treating JJ’s unthinkable action as a joke.
Because of JJ’s reaction, Major scolds Fatima and asks her to explain whether or not she knew about the relationship between Dida and Kaka in the village. Because Fatima was so perplexed when Dida went to the village and because Fatima insisted that Kaka come and work at the house so that she could keep a close eye on him, Major tells her that he can finally put the pieces together.
ĹFatima attempts to deflect attention by implying that Major is to blame for JJ’s unruly behavior. When Fatima starts to stray from the topic at hand, Major tells her to get back on track. The entire compound is worried when Bi Ua begins to cream. A swarm of people is making their way to her room.
